Bushveld Tree Fellers (PTY) Ltd (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy and processes personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What we collect
When you send a quote request, we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, optional email, suburb, the service you need, your message and any photo you upload. If you accept analytics cookies, we also collect anonymous usage information through Google Analytics and Google Ads.
Why we collect it
To respond to your request, give you a quote, carry out the work, and manage our business. We do not sell your information.
Cookies and tracking
Analytics and advertising tags (Google) load only if you press “Accept” on our cookie notice. You can decline and still use the whole site.
Separately, our own website records anonymous visit and click counts, such as which page a visit started on, whether it came from a search, an advert or another website, and whether the call, WhatsApp, email or quote buttons were pressed. This uses no cookies and stores no IP address, name or other personal identifier, and helps us understand which marketing works.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your request and for our reasonable business and legal needs.
Who sees it
Our team and the service providers that host our site and send our email. Analytics data is processed by Google if you accept cookies.
Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing sales@bushveldtf.co.za. If you are unhappy with how we handle it, you may complain to the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za).
